Naming A Hospital Pretend you're the marketing director of a hospital that has just decided to merge with two other nearby facilities to pool resources, cut down on administrative overhead and increase profitability. You want a name that can be shared by all three hospitals that emphasizes personal service, quality care and convenience. You jot down some starter words and word parts that you want to work with. You then start NamePro and decide to look for some additional Namepart ideas in its Namepart Database. You click on the Combo icon on the Icon Bar, and then click on the Load button in the Combinations Window to display the different Namepart files. You select one called HLTHCARE.SV1 and load it into the Combinations Window:
You review each column of Nameparts, deleting those that aren't appropriate and adding some of your ideas to the lists. Note that NamePro keeps the Namepart lists sorted in alphabetical order and automatically eliminates any duplicates that you may inadvertently enter. Once you've entered all your Nameparts, you start the combinations run by clicking on the OK button. NamePro takes every Namepart in the first column and combines it with every Namepart in the second column, inserting one or more special characters between Nameparts if desired. When the run is completed, all the new names will be displayed in the Review Window. You can then scroll through this window, double clicking on your favorite names to store them in the Keepers Window:
When you're finished copying your favorite names into the Keepers Window, click on the Print button to print them out. NamePro will first display the Output Window so you can enter a report title and subtitle, specify the number of copies and number of lines per page, and select a report formats.
You then click on the Print button to print the report using the 2 Column Report format. After reviewing the report, you can explode your favorite names into their component parts using NamePro's Xploder button, and then recombine these parts back together to form a whole new set of names. You can also check your favorite names for hidden profane meanings and use names in the Namebase as a springboard to other related names.
